Transport in Sri Lanka

Transportation facilities will be provided to the foreign participants from Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake, Sri Lanka to the hotels of stay. On the conference day transport facilities will be available from the respective hotel to the conference venue and back. Transportation will also be provided to any conference dinner venues and hotels.

However, local participants must organize their own transportation to the hotels or to the conference venues respectively.

Visa requirements to Sri Lanka

All the overseas participants and presenters are required with an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to enter Sri Lanka. A Sri Lankan visa is an endorsement on a passport or a similar document to facilitate the legal entry of non Sri Lankans into the country and to regulate the period of their stay and the conditions governing such stay. Visitors for the conference may apply for a VISIT VISA (either Tourist or Business) - an entry permit signifying the consent of the Sri Lankan Government for the admission of a foreign national to the country - that contains details of the period of time and the condition/s of the stay.
